Tammy Reina, our JCCS and County Teacher of the Year, was recently selected as one of the five State Teachers of the Year. The JCCS RESTART After School Program received the Golden Bell Award from the California School Boards Association (CSBA). The Golden Bell Award is presented by CSBA to selected programs throughout the state that have established creative programs that meet the unique needs of students in K-12 schools. |

For members who want to discontinue their plans with UnumProvident and enroll with The Standard you will need to fill out a new Payroll Deduction Form. | Effective January 1, 2007 the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing will require all Professional Clear Credential holders to renew their credentials online. The renewal process also works for 30 Day Substitute Permits and most Child Development Permits. Within two weeks a renewed credential or permit can be issued. To register, go to the CTC website by clicking on the 'More Info' label above. Please note, the online renewal process requires payment by VISA or MasterCard. This health care proposal will provide high quality health care for all residents in California and control health care costs. On February 27, 2007 Senator Kuehl re-introduced SB840 with the broad based support of labor, community organizations, and millions of Californians who want health care reform.
